The Terroir of Natural Wine: A VeroTalk with the Corino Family

We chatted with natural winemaking family Guido and Luisa Corino about what their late father, ‘the wise man of natural wine’, Lorenzo Corino, taught them about terroir and the land under the vines.

Along with Peter Nelson, Boston-based sommelier and restaurateur, who led our last chat with Lorenzo and Guido Corino back in May 2020 we got an intimate insight into their father’s legacy and how they are carrying on as the 6th generation of natural wine vignerons. Case Corini believes in Super Natural wines, or wines made organically, biodynamically, with native yeast fermentation and regenerative farming practices that are sustainable for the local ecosystem and vineyards.
