From the Thaya estate winery in the Czech Republic, with a lemon yellow color, this sauvignon blanc has an intriguing nose, floral, with cape gooseberry fruit and lemongrass, and a hint of coffee roasting, thanks to aging in french oak barrels for 12 months, of which 20% is new oak. It has great acidity with flavors of grapefruit and poblano chiles and grapefruit pith appearing in the long, saline finish.

It has citrus and apple flavors with a hint of lemongrass. It’s great acidity and a long, sapid finish creates a delicious white wine.
Winemaker Michi Lorenz is certified organic, biodynamic and with native yeast fermentation is a great wine from the Sudsteiermark region in the South Styria of Austria.
