From the Thaya estate winery in the Czech Republic, this Muller Thurgau white wine is organic with notes of lemon, lemongrass, and white peach. Quaffable, this Muller Thurgau is fresh, with citrus lime fruit and also minerally, with a pleasant finish. Made with native yeast fermentation and then stainless steel aged for 6 months, the aroma is typical of the grape which is a cross between riesling and sylvaner.

Thaya is built on the passion of South Moraviana native, owner Josef Trávníček and on the craftsmanship of winemaker Jakub Smrčka who make organic wines, most with native yeast fermentation, in South Moravia, along the Austrian border. They focus on many German and Austrian varietals, but also have some native to the Czech Republic, like Moravian Muscat. Generally soil is granite and loess with some calcareous clay.
